Per Hour BONUS- after 90 days of hire for full-time e (30+ hours/week)
Online Training programs include 10 hours of paid annual coursework
FREE Homewatch University 2000+ CEU (Continuing Education Units) to further education, or to maintain certifications eligibility
Responsibilities
No previous caregiver/CNA experience is necessary. Paid in-office training and hands-on training provided till comfortable and confident to do a job well done. We've been around for 26 years and our two main trainers combined share 27 years of experience.
Be pleasant and supportive companion
Help clients with transfers
Assist clients with personal care, incontinence care and hygiene
Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
Dementia/Alzheimer's Care
Medications reminders
Report any incidents and changes in the health or status of the client
During incidents act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Requirements
Must possess compassion and empathy
Verbal and Nonverbal Communication Skills
Must be able to provide verification of any certifications held
PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED: Experience as a caregiver in-home care setting or skilled facility
Must pass national and multi-jurisdictional background checks, Department of Motor Vehicle checks, TB screening
Must be able to meet quality standards of care during shifts and follow standard procedures
IF YOU HAVE A VEHICLE -Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance
