    Homewatch CareGivers of Yorba Linda is seeking a caring and compassionate Scheduling Coordinator to join its growing team. This position will be responsible for the scheduling of our team of home care aides (caregivers) in Northern Orange County. He/she will also be responsible for staffing and recruitment functions of our hourly staff. We are looking for someone that possesses strong administrative skills and is willing and able to wear many hats and go the extra mile.

    Scheduling responsibilities will include (60%-70% of weekly time):

    Scheduling appropriate caregivers with clients and communicating to all parties

    Completing client and caregiver documentation in scheduling software

    Responding to all questions regarding client and caregiver schedules

    Confirming and updating caregiver availability including sick time and holidays

    Documenting skills and attributes of caregivers to ensure strong matching to clients

    Maintaining payroll records and staff information in database

    Assisting with general office daily tasks

    Recruiting responsibilities will include (20%-30% of weekly time):

    Recruiting and identifying Home Care Aide candidates for employment opportunities in the Northern Orange County area (20% of week)

    Developing and executing the talent search strategies, including active sourcing from online platforms, social media, and competitors and by attending networking events

    Posting ads to various online resources (i.e. Craigslist, LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.)

    Expanding community relationships and maintain contacts with Home Care Training schools, nursing programs, placement agencies, social service agencies to promote our company

    Screening of potential candidates, scheduling onsite interviews, and extending offers of employment

    Onboarding of candidates and assisting with orientation

    Other responsibilities (10% of weekly time):

    Time card and payroll reconciliation (10% of week)

    Worker comp reporting

    Answering incoming phone calls

    Requirements:

    Organizational and time management skills

    Excellent communication skills

    Complete a criminal background check

    Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance

    Applicants must be able to pass a background screening with satisfactory results. Be open to phone call on-call responsibilities a few days per week. Candidate will work a full-time 40 hour per week (including phone on-call time). Must be proficient in Word, Excel, and other Microsoft applications as well as a moderate email load. Prior Home Care experience is a plus! Company provided cellular phone and computer will be provided along with PTO and sick days.
