As a Medicaid Specialist, you will be responsible for billing Medicaid within our Records and Operations team.

    Job Description

    We are looking for a person who will take pride in ensuring efficiency and timekeeping. The Medicaid Specialist is responsible for accurate record keeping, communication with doctor’s offices, management of protected health information, managing faxes and communication within our corporate office, and submitting required paperwork to Medicaid. The Medicaid Specialist reports to and works directly with the Medicaid Director. Duties include:

    Medicaid 485 Management

    o Review 485s sent from our RNs

    o Submit doctor’s orders to various doctor’s

    o Manage documents in client’s files

    o Submit to Medicaid

    o Ensure accuracy and compliance for 485s

    Reception Duties

    o Manage calls for our corporate office

    o Manage faxes for company

    o Collaborate with Records and Operations Department to develop best practices

    Requirements

    Experience in Medicaid billing preferred, on the job training is available.

    Computer savvy, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel

    Must pass background check and drug screen

    Valid driver’s license
