Homewood Suites Charlotte/Ayrsley seeks fulltime Houseperson.
The Houseperson is responsible for assisting in the maintenance of the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel while providing customers with the highest quality service in a timely and friendly manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilites
Responsibilities vary but may include:
Cleaning and maintaining the appearance of the public areas of the hotel
Setting-up and maintaining storage and linen closets
Helping in the laundry when needed
Change and replenish bed linens, towels and guest amenities, as needed
Perform deep cleaning tasks, as needed
Stock, maintain and transport housekeeping supply carts on a daily basis
Dispose of trash and recyclables
Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred. Some hotel experience preferred - minimum of three (3) months. Ability to manage priorities and be able to adapt to meet the diverse needs of our customers. Excellent guest services skills required.
License/Certification: A valid driver's license is preferred.
Language Skills: Ability to exercise excellent communication, organization, time management and listening skills. Fluency in a second language is an advantage.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense to guest oriented situations. Must have a sense of urgency.

Varying schedule to include evenings, holidays and extended hours as business dictates. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
