    PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

    Candidate should be able to conduct various compliance QC audits under the guidance of our Compliance Officer; monitor initial TRID disclosures for accuracy; possess a working knowledge of NMLS interface; and possess strong communication skills. Candidate should be comfortable with a daily work schedule of tasks that may vary from day to day. Candidate should possess intermediate skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to: Word, Excel, and Outlook. Candidate should demonstrate knowledge of and be willing to adhere to EEO policy; show respect and sensitivity for cultural differences; be willing to educate others on the value of diversity. Candidate must be willing to perform other duties and projects as assigned.

    Candidate should be able to assist Compliance Officer in the development, review, and updates of policies, standards, and procedures and other governance documents of applicable business units and risk subject matter areas. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Assist in the development and maintenance of company’s compliance implementation and risk assessment programs to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, statutes and codes

    · Keep abreast of regulatory and legal developments governing mortgage lending; recommend and assist in implementation of changes to internal company procedures as needed

    · Provide counsel, guidance and insight to senior management and staff personnel on emerging compliance issues. Assist in establishment of controls to mitigate risk

    · Provide staff with compliance training

    · Assist with the development of forms and disclosure documents as needed

    · Assist with the development of compliance policies and procedures; ensure Compliance Policy and Procedures manuals are current

    o Reg-C Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA)

    o Reg-H S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act- State Compliance and Bureau Registration System

    o Reg-V Fair Credit Reporting Act EDUCATION · Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Degree EXPERIENCE · Minimum 5-7 years of experience in mortgage related operations; or

    · 3+ years of experience focused in mortgage-related regulatory compliance

    · Working knowledge of federal and state compliance laws and regulations including a proven ability to apply these requirements to business practices, systems and identify and assess compliance risk.

    · Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic environment handling multiple competing tasks simultaneously to closure.

    · Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, strong work ethic, and critical thinking skills.

    · Proficient in MS Office including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint (BytePro LOS a plus)

    · Time management; decision making; report writing PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS · This position is in an office setting with computer and general office equipment. The position requires the ability to move freely around within the department and other department locations.
