Responsibilities: • Use diagnostic equipment, technical expertise, and the vehicle’s integrated diagnostic systems to identify and determine the cause of malfunction codes • Follow all manufacturer specifications for vehicle system repairs to ensure optimum customer satisfaction and facilitate returning business • Apply a checklist-based approach to ensure a comprehensive examination of all vehicle systems, including the engine, air conditioning, transmission, and brake systems • Establish processes for tracking diagnostics and system repairs, maintaining up-to-date manufacturer specifications, and more • Ensure a straightforward repair process by clearly communicating systems issues and repairs Qualifications: • Completion of a certified post-secondary training program is mandatory; an associate degree is ideal • Strong customer service and communications skills are needed • ASE certification or comparable standard service technician credential, such as SAE, is attractive • Possess a high school diploma or GED • Honda experience a PLUS! Compensation: $80,000+
