About Us: We are a rapidly-growing roofing company working on a unique in-house Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system tailored for contractors. We're in search of a talented front-end developer for a contract role to enhance and expand this platform.

About the Role:

This is a short term W-2 position.

You will report to and work in tandem with the Director of Technology.

40 hours / week @ $40.00/hr. The pay is non-negotiable.

Exact hours, e.g. 9-5 or 8-4, are not enforced. "Night owls" welcome.

Virtual meetings as needed, 1-2 times per week. Optional camera.

Workstation & peripherals provided if desired.

The 1st round interview will be ~10 minutes long via phone call.

2nd round interview will be 30-45 minutes long via video chat and will include a simple technical test in JavaScript. During this interview you will have the opportunity to showcase any previous projects that you have worked on.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the company's React "Expert" and convert our CRM's existing user interface from vanilla JavaScript.

Continue the development and design of the CRM's web UI in React.

Develop native mobile apps for Android and iOS with React Native.

Collaborate with the IT team and stakeholders to design user-friendly interfaces.

Integrate with Firebase and various third-party services.

Ensure the platform is responsive and optimized across devices.

Requirements:

Strong proficiency in React.js, React Native, and modern JavaScript.

Proficiency with CSS and general web design principles.

Excellent communication skills and a team player.

Nice to Have:

Experience with Firebase / Firestore / Identity Management.

Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Experience with GitHub / GitHub Codespaces.

This is a remote position.
