About Us: We are a rapidly-growing roofing company working on a unique in-house Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system tailored for contractors. We're seeking a full-stack developer to streamline our platform and assist in its refinement for launch.

About the Role:

This is a short term W-2 position.

You will report to and work in tandem with the Director of Technology.

40 hours / week @ $50.00/hr. The pay is non-negotiable.

Exact hours, e.g. 9-5 or 8-4, are not enforced. "Night owls" welcome.

Virtual meetings as needed, 1-2 times per week. Optional camera.

Workstation & peripherals provided if desired.

Decline notifications and invitations for a preliminary 1st round interview will be sent by 09/29/2023 EOD.

The 1st round interview will be ~10 minutes long via phone call.

2nd round interview will be 30-45 minutes long via video chat and will include a simple technical test in JavaScript. During this interview you will have the opportunity to showcase any previous projects that you have worked on.

Key Responsibilities:

Work across the stack, with a focus on back-end tasks and integrations.

Provide guidance on overall architecture of project based on previous experiences.

Enhance and maintain our Firebase infrastructure.

Collaborate closely with the front-end developer to implement features.

Ensure system scalability, performance, and reliability.

Ensure the platform is responsive and optimized across devices.

Requirements:

Experience with GitHub Codespaces.

Proficiency in JavaScript and familiarity with React.

Strong experience with Firebase Firestore, Firebase Storage, and Firebase Authentication / Identity Management.

Ability to integrate with third-party services and APIs.

Proven problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
