Our boutique residential design and construction company is seeking a skilled and experienced Kitchen and Bathroom Designer to join our team in San Diego, CA. As a Designer, you will be responsible for working with clients on residential remodeling projects, primarily focusing on kitchens and bathrooms. You will be responsible for creating design concepts, producing drawings/renderings, and managing the client relationship through the entire design process.

Responsibilities:

• Meet with clients to understand their design preferences and goals for their project
• Develop design concepts and space plans that meet the client's needs and preferences
• Create detailed drawings/renderings of the proposed designs to help clients visualize the end result
• Provide design guidance and recommendations to clients, ensuring that their projects are both functional and aesthetically pleasing
• Manage the client relationship through the entire design process, ensuring that all communication is clear and effective
• Work collaboratively with our construction team to ensure that the designs are feasible and can be executed within budget
• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies, and continuously improve our design process

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field preferred, but not required
• At least 3 years of experience in residential kitchen and bathroom design
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and/or other 3D rendering software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on creating high-quality design deliverables
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
