Position: Product Development Specialist

The Role:
We often refer to this role as "the most fun job in the company." As a Product Development Specialist, your mission will be to dream up new, innovative products and oversee the entire process of turning them into reality. You'll be the creative force behind product creation, and will assist in product development from conception, to design, to reviewing and providing feedback of samples, and through to complete order.
This will be a very collaborative role, so we are seeking candidates that can commute to our Boca Raton, FL location.
Responsibilities:
Dream Big: Imagine and conceptualize new product ideas that resonate with Honeyplum's audience and mission. This could include everything from greeting cards, holiday decor, and party decor.
Design Magic: Oversee the process of bringing the product to life which may include various activities like writing creative briefs for our illustrator, detailing product specs, functionality, material, and all other details needed for our illustrator to design, and manufacturing partners to make.
Collaborate & Problem Solve: Work closely with our creative team and production partners to identify and overcome design or production issues with the goal of bringing only the best quality products to life for our customers.
Stay Trendy: Keep abreast of style trends, market demands, and customer preferences to stay ahead in the world of product design.
Help Promote: We're a small team and this person should be a creative at heart so we also envision this role assisting with promotional tasks like planning & coordinating photo shoots, designing social media or product listing graphics, and other related tasks.
