Qualifications - Language: - Mandarin (Required) - Education: Accounting major Full Job Description We are looking for a detailed oriented, hardworking and motived staff accountant to join our team. We are a small firm established ten years ago with a loyal client base and we provide exceptional service for our clients' tax, accounting, and advisory needs for both businesses and individuals. We have a small (up to 5 employees) and friendly working environment and we are looking for someone who preferrable have one to two years of public accounting experience to job our team. Even if you have no experience at all, as long as you are humble and willing to learn we still welcome you and would provide the training needed for your personal success. Responsibilities - Process incorporation and dissolution documents - Bookkeeping for clients - Payroll processing - Preparation of payroll and sales tax returns - Preparation of income tax returns for individual and businesses - Preparation and filing of 1099's - (if you have no prior public accounting experience, responsibilities will be added based on how well you master the responsibilities given) Requirements - Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field - Previous experience in public accounting is a plus but not required - Must be fluent in English AND Mandarin - Experience with QuickBooks and ProSeries preferred - Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices, individual and business income tax concepts - Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software - Ability to manage and prioritize duties and meet deadlines Job Types: Full-time Pay: Negotiable based on experience Benefits: - Medical, dental and vision insurance - Paid vacation after two years of employment Schedule: - Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm
