    POSITION DESCRIPTION:

    A sales representative calls restaurants and food service establishments throughout the

    continental US or their assigned territory to determine interest in using top grade fresh Hawaiian

    and farm raised fish on their menus.

    KEY FUNCTIONS:

    Initially call list of accounts provided by the company.

    ● Connect with the business owner, chef or decision maker and to secure a purchase.

    ● Continually develop and maintain their book of business.

    ● Consistently update activities in real time on company systems as their primary means of

    validating compensatory activities.

    PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:

    ● The objective of a successful sales rep is to get a strong commitment to buy or an

    actual sale on the first “hit”.

    ● The sales rep will continuously build a successful book-of-business.

    ● The sales rep will manage account buying patterns expanding a social network of buyers

    wherever ‘true’ ocean-to-plate product matters.

    ● The sales rep will assist collecting delinquent receivables prior to next sale.

    SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB:

    The individual will have access to a price list and availability via our online site. When an order

    is made, the rep will direct the customer to the website and have them place their order along

    with their form of payment. When the order is accepted, the rep will complete their activity on

    our CRM interface to register their sale.

    All activities will be handled with the highest level of discretion and not shared without the

    written approval of an authorized representative of Honolulu Fish Company.

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    ● Organized for self time management and working towards goal driven objectives.

    ● Responsible for their own accommodations to perform the essential functions.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    ● Demonstrated ability to prospect and service a list of companies reviewed with and

    approved by Honolulu Fish Company.

    ● Self motivated, organized and committed to completing all tasks and projects.

    ● Excellent verbal communication skills.

    ● Basic computer skills.

    ● Provide own access to a remote network access to a cloud based CRM office suite

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    ● Selling specialized products within the foodservice industry.

    ● Prior seafood selling experience preferred.

    ● Passion for high end gourmet food and desire to network with quality ingredient-driven

    chefs and purchasers.

    ● Broad knowledge and experience selling to the foodservice industry with an emphasis

    on experience selling to restaurants.
