    Honors Pathway seeks to recruit a full-time Salesforce Administrator to help manage and administer our Salesforce.com deployment.

    Honors Pathway (HP) is a social venture headquartered in Oakland, CA. HP partners with a growing network of non-profit, regionally accredited universities and public high schools to operate MicroCollege programs. These unique college pathway programs enable low-income, first-time college students to complete up to two years of college classes in a highly supportive environment – at no cost to them or their families.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    The Salesforce Administrator will help lead the ongoing development of our Salesforce.com deployment. The successful candidate will have a record of success in improving processes and adoption using the Force.com platform (ideally using the Salesforce Education Data Architecture). The administrator will work closely with business and organizational leaders to identify, develop and deploy new business processes including: Marketing, Enrollment, Integration with University Partners and our core program processes (student attendance, grades, case management, etc). This role is part technical project manager, part administrator and part Salesforce analyst and will work closely with our Director of Salesforce Development, however, the Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of our CRM platform.

    Responsibilities

    • Serve as one of the primary system administrators for the Salesforce.com environment with 70+ users and over 1200 community members in various Salesforce Communities
    • Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks
    • Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades
    • Manage Salesforce.com integrations with support from the Senior Director of Salesforce Development
    • Coordinate with the Senior Director of Salesforce Development to evaluate and determine the scope of new development requests
    • Assist in training of new users, and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization
    • Effectively act as the key liaison between our users, vendors, and the application development teams
    • Work independently with members of the user community to define and document development requirements

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • 5+ years of Salesforce.com implementation experience, experience working with Nonprofit Success Pack and/or Education Data Architecture organizations a major plus
    • Ability to work and deliver creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
    • Results-oriented personality - we deliver and roll out new functionality to our co-workers, clients, and partner organizations on a daily basis
    • Experience working with business process and development teams to design, implement and deploy Salesforce.com applications to different clients at the enterprise level
    • Salesforce.com certifications (Admin, Sales, Service, Community, Education or Nonprofit Cloud Consultant)
    • Understanding of key SFDC architectural concepts
    • Combination of business analysis and technology implementation experience.
    • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and be creative within a team.
    • An “All-In” attitude. The next several months are critical to the growth and scaling of our operations, and we are looking for a person who is flexible to take calls or meetings in the evenings and on the weekends when necessary.

    Secondary Skills

    • Applications including FormAssembly, Conga Composer/Sign, TargetX, TaskRay, Zoom, Student Advisor Link, Partner and Customer Communities,
    • Background with technical architecture and security concepts (integration patterns, architecture styles, data security) and especially integration tools like Workato

    Consulting Framework

    • To the extent the successful candidate can dedicate at least 20 hours per week, we are open to beginning the employment relationship as a consulting engagement.
