    Hooks Meng & Clement are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our outstanding crew and help provide clients with expert Industrial Relations Law solutions. We counsel and defend employers, insurers, third-party administrators, and others in the areas of Workers’ Compensation, subrogation, occupational safety and health, subsequent injury, and related matters. Hooks Meng and Clement protects and empowers our clients by successfully navigating the constant challenges on a sea of complex, arcane statutes and regulations we call Industrial Relations Law. Hooks Meng & Clement specializes in Workers’ Compensation Insurance Defense, OSHA Employer Representation, Subrogation, Subsequent Injury, and Industrial Insurance Litigation. Our expertise and experience in Industrial Relations Law is simply unparalleled in the State of Nevada. Responsibilities: • Represent clients in court or before government agencies either in person or remotely (when required). • Prepare and draft legal documents and correspondence to various clients, opposing counsel, and courts. • Ability to meet or exceed billable hours requirements on a monthly basis. • Be careful and deliberate in planning and strategizing for our clients by reviewing and managing case files and case strategies. • Advise, review, and strategize with clients by telephone, written correspondence, and/or email. • Analyze conflicts in legal matters. • Maintain client files in our case management system in an organized fashion to ensure file has the most up-to-date information. • Knowledge of Nevada statutes and regulations pertaining to assigned cases and be able to perform legal research. • Communicate and coordinate with various State and local entities when required as well as compliance with all legal standards, ethics, Nevada Statutes, and Regulations. • Must be organized, a multitasker, and able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications: • Nevada State Bar member in good standing. • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and cross-functional problem-solving skills. • Adaptability and flexibility are a must as well as being detail-oriented in your work. • A team player as well as the ability to work independently. • Ability to build rapport with clients. • Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple, competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Exceptional and persuasive writing skills. • Excellent verbal communication skills are critical. • Highly motivated and interested in Administrative Law or Employment-related law. • 1-3 years of litigation experience, but not required. Compensation: $100,000 annually
