Job Description
Hooray Agency is a full-service advertising agency based in Irvine that is seeking a Lead Programmer who is looking to provide leadership and drive the technology of the agency forward.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Have deep technical subject matter expert in 3+ general areas of software development (e.g. Server, DB, Security etc.).
· Identify risks and architect & write software that solves complex business problems.
· Be able to provide well-articulated and reasoned explanations for when and why to apply software design patterns.
· Leverage skills, knowledge and experience to match the right solution for the problem.
· Tackle technical challenges head-on with a well-defined plan.
· Know when and how to optimize complex code.
· Have working knowledge of developing database-driven web-based applications with C#/.NET
· Have working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and JavaScript frameworks
· Have experience with responsive and adaptive design
· Have experience with Git
· Can lead a discussion as the team collaborates on technical solutions for our clients
· Share knowledge, motivate and inspire others to generate new ideas
REQUIREMENTS:
- B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical degree and/or experience
- 5+ years of industry experience building web applications with c#/.NET with at least 3 years of experience working with RESTful web services and JSON.
IDEAL CANDIDATES SHOULD HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF Amazon Web Services (AWS), React, Node.js, docker, Linux server, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, and WordPress.
