Job Description
Hooray Agency, a full-service advertising agency based in Irvine is looking for qualified candidates with 5-10 years of experience in media planning, buying, and advertising optimization. Specific experience in the travel, hospitality, transportation, or luxury lifestyle segment is a major plus.
The Media Planner role will drive media channels to deliver an advertising message to a clients' target audience. Using research data, the candidate will consider what is going to be most effective within the budget allocated and give the client's product or service maximum exposure.
The Media planners will discuss advertising strategy with their clients, analyze and research the target audience's character, advise the creative team and clients about the most effective media combination and present media proposals.
This role will also entail media buying, including obtaining the best advertising rates, adjusting media schedules in response to the latest audience figures, managing budgets and monitoring and updating clients on the effectiveness of campaigns.
