POSITION OVERVIEW
Hop Culture Brewing Company is looking for an enthusiastic team player who is not only knowledgeable about the craft beer space, but is also passionate about our mission of creating farm to table craft beer.
We are looking for a fun, motivated, and self-starting individual to join our team as a Sales Rep, focused for now on our home state of Connecticut. This individual must have a deep passion for craft beer and the drive and motivation to share that passion with others. This role is responsible for increasing consumer brand awareness as well as developing and building lasting and valuable relationships with our distribution partner, retailers, restaurants, bars, and end-customers. While maintaining and servicing our existing account base, your duties will also be to consistently pursue new and creative business opportunities.
ABOUT HOP CULTURE BREWING COMPANY.
Hop Culture Farms and Brew Co is a 40 acre farm located in Colchester CT. We currently grow and process 5 acres of hops, and some of our hops from the farm go into every batch of beer we produce. Our farm brewery is located on property in a renovated cattle barn. We provide an agritourism destination where consumers can enjoy our farm atmosphere while enjoying farm to glass craft beer. This year we will also be expanding our agricultural operation to include a small orchard, berries and bee hives to further enhance our consumers' experience here. We also host a plethora of on site events, local live music and host other artisans and businesses. Our taproom opened in 2019 and we have been steadily expanding since.
REQUIREMENTS
Understanding and embracing of Hop Culture Brewings mission and ethos surrounding distribution plans and partner relationships
Develop detailed knowledge regarding our core brands as well as knowledge of our agricultural operation and how that enhances our products
Reporting to the Director of Sales to collaborate on building on existing distribution relationships and also seeking out and initiating new business.
Developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with key retailers and restaurants.
Must be willing and able to conduct various promotional events with key retailers and partners that may occur at night and on weekends.
Must have access to a car and have clean driving record
