To serve the vision of Hope City by way of student life, development, and pastoral care.
Basic Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years of hands on youth ministry experience
- Ministry certification preferred
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Demonstration of effective pastor leadership
- Leadership and administrative experience
- Consistent involvement with the pastoral needs of students
- Systematic team building and leadership development
- Ability to communicate vision
- Proficient in Microsoft suite. Must be willing to learn new programs as needed
- Must be energetic and able to stand or sit for lengths of time as needed
General Responsibilities:
- Develop message content based on the topic of choice to share at Youth Nights.
- Creating a service environment within Youth Night that connects students to the growth track, dream team, to worship, pray and build healthy community, and challenges them to grow as leaders within the church.
- Build teams that involve students and empower them as leaders.
- Strategically promoting Youth Night within the campus using mediums such as Weekend Services and Community Nights.
- Actively participating in social media on a regular basis for students and parents to stay connected to student services.
- Intentionally build relationships with affiliated churches through the ARC and GROW Network
- Connect with schools within the community in order to enable students to participate in student services
- Actively following up with every student that fills out a connection card from a student services.
- Relationally serve students' pastoral care needs and create personal growth plans for students to receive and experience healing, restoration, deliverance, freedom, and the process of redemption.
- Liaison for all Connect Group systems and structure implemented by Hope City.
- Liaison for all Growth Track systems and structure implemented by Hope City.
- Liaison for all Dream Team systems and structure implemented by Hope City.
- Lead summer internship initiatives. Coordinate summer schedule, create and maintain budget, personally intervene when necessary for all pastoral care needs.
- Organize all Youth Leadership opportunities.
- Organize and oversee Youth Conferences/Retreats.
