Please note, this is an ONSITE position with a 4 x 10hr schedule, Monday - Thursday. The Opportunity: The Distribution Operations Analyst is an integral part of the operation gathering, analyzing, and providing consolidated information to the leadership team to effectively manage the 450K sq ft Distribution Center located in McDonough, Georgia. As a key member of the Distribution Center, analysis and recommendations will guide the leadership team on daily staffing decisions through long-term strategic initiatives. Through combining quantitative methods, strategic thinking, and innovative initiatives you will make a significant impact on our operation. Responsibilities: * Work with Distribution Leadership to use data to analyze departments and associated areas of opportunity to drive fact-based decisions * Are expected to have strong analytical skills in manipulating large sets of data in databases and spreadsheets * Develop systems to gather and store pre-mentioned data * Support process improvement initiatives to include process change and management for all projects in the Distribution Center * Collect, analyze, and publish key distribution metrics to include but not limited to: * Productivity by department/facility * Cost by department/facility * Quality * Safety * Create and maintain Slotting information for all picking information * Work with IT on creating and maintaining list of technical improvements including ERP and WMS systems * Develop SOPs for corresponding metrics and initiatives What You'll Bring: * 3-5 years' experience in a business analyst role supporting a warehouse/distribution center and/or a combination of distribution center/warehouse management experience required * Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Supply Chain required * Must possess expert level Excel skills * Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills * Experience in conducting cost analysis and inventory analysis * Understanding of ERP and WMS systems required * A high level of proficiency in MS Access, SQL, or other database tools, MS Office and MS Project * Must be willing and able to work onsite at our McDonough, GA warehouse on a daily basis About Us: Horizon Group USA is an innovative creator of children's craft & activity kits!
