    THE OPPORTUNITY: 

    Our team at Horizon Group USA (HGUSA) is looking for a talented, strategic HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT to support our corporate HR team based in Warren, NJ.  This role will focus on an array of HR work including onboarding, medical bill reconciliation, recruiting coordination and ad-hoc projects as assigned.  Our ideal candidate is an organized, proactive team player who is able to manage multiple priorities at once with a sense of urgency, extreme detail and with our core values of respect, kindness and compassion.   Our Human Resources Assistant will demonstrate sound moral character and judgement, is solutions-oriented, has outstanding time management and communication skills, a strong foundation in the basics of Human Resources Management, and is well versed in ADP Workforce Now (our HR and payroll system).  This is an awesome opportunity for a self-starter with 3-5 years of HR experience, who thrives in a fast-paced environment.  

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Onboard new hires and ensure compliance documentation is correct, completed and up-to-date
    • Manage bi-weekly time and attendance through the ADP Workforce Now system including paid time off requests, etc...
    • Assist with onboarding new hires through ADP Workforce Now 
    • Assists with recruiting efforts (primarily candidate scheduling)
    • Ensure that new employees integrate effectively into the organization
    • Other HR related projects as assigned

     SKILLS AND QUALIFYING EXPERIENCE:

    • ADP WORKFORCE NOW EXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY_ _
    • Must have previous experience in an environment with hourly employees in an HR support role
    • 3-5 years of Human Resource experience
    • Solid knowledge of HR fundamentals 
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Positive, collaborative team player (we are a fun team!)
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
