    Horizon Staffing is looking to hire compassionate, competent, and dedicated Registered Nurses to fill the needs of our Washington State community. Our focus is to provide fully trained and qualified health professionals to meet high-quality staffing needs at hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, adult family homes, & adult day care centers. These are immediate openings with both full-time and part-time shifts available.     Job Requirements:

    Valid RN License

    Active CPR Card/First Aid

    WA State I.D.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Treat patients and families with respect

    Maintain good working relationship within the office

    Maintain patient privacy

    Support culture of safety and quality

    Complete all documentation of patient treatment process, including progress notes and discharge summaries in an accurate and timely manner

    Clean, sanitize and stock treatment rooms between patients

    Perform all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces likelihood of medical errors

    Perform and/or order diagnostic and therapeutic procedures/tests

    Provide counseling and education for patients and families on preventive care

    Obtain peripheral IV access, place on monitor and obtain initial set of VS

    Communicate appropriately and clearly to supervising physician, clinical and office staff, especially any significant changes in patient condition

    Provide appropriate intervention based on standing orders and direction

    Always defer to the medical director with difficult cases or when a case is out of the scope of practice

    Attend all office and medical staff meetings as appropriate to the clinic's rules and regulations

    Evaluates the identified problems, care provided, and patient’s responses are reassessed to meet patient and family needs to ensure overall quality of care delivered.

    Maintains up-to-date and accurate documentation of nursing care provided to facilitate the integration of information for use by the healthcare team to assure quality care.

    Instructs patient and family regarding medications and treatment instructions. Health teaching regarding nutrition, exercise, preventative measures and tests, side effects of medications, normal vs. abnormal, etc.

    Administration of medication via injection, blood draws, preparation of urine specimens, complete lab requisitions, review lab reports daily, inform physician of abnormal or unusual results.

    Performs related work as assigned.
