PEDS CRITICAL CARE FLOAT RN in San Diego, CA $110 to $130 per hour paid weekly
13 week contract
12/5 start date
PAY- $110-$130 PER HOUR BLENDED RATE
**MUST BE COVID VACCINATED- INCLUDING BOOSTER**
THIS IS A CRITICAL CARE FLOAT POOL POSITION - PICU EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
**RN MUST HAVE CA LICENSE IN HAND OR PENDING WITH ETAs of when it will post**
Required:
CA License
First to float to other units outside of the critical care units, including ED
Will care for all age ranges and levels of acuity
BLS
PALS
2 full recent years of Pediatric ICU experience
Experience: Ventilators, trachs, multiple monitoring skills, specifically CVP and EKG.
Shifts:
48/48 variable or straight night start times (4 weekend shifts sat-sun on day shift and then 5 shifts of fri-sat nights – traveler gets off one full weekend every 4 week schedule), 36/36 and 36/48 also available
Requested Time Off:
Max 8 days (Must still get 3 shifts in per week)
Must work 2 of the 3 Holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s)
Patient Population: High acuity unit seeing injury, respiratory failure, shock, multi system failure, poisonings, near drowning, meningitis, post op cardiac surgical care, **neurosurgery. Trauma, hem onc, DKA if PH or altered consciousness
