TAX MANAGER

Horlacher, Williams + Lowery, PLC, a full-service public accounting firm located in Brentwood, TN, provides accounting, audit and tax services for privately held businesses, their owners and individuals.

Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking a dedicated self-starter with 5-10 years of public accounting tax experience to lead tax engagements for privately held businesses and high net worth individuals, supervise accounting staff and help drive the growth of the firm. Working directly with clients and senior leadership, you will prepare and review corporate, individual, trust and partnership tax returns; lead engagements in all phases of accounting including tax planning, research, projections and compliance; provide strategic business consulting and establish, cultivate and manage professional client relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 5-10 years of public accounting tax experience progressing in scope and responsibility
• CPA license
• Proven ability to prepare and review tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, critical thinking, client service and PC skills including MS Office and accounting software proficiency
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, work independently as well as within teams and develop professional relationships with clients and all levels of staff
