Job Description

Position: Bookkeeper (Part Time) Responsibilities: * Responsible for the company's accounting functions * Manage cash receipts, invoicing, AR, collections, and AP processing and management * Payroll and commissions, reporting and management * Provide HR assistance. 401K management, and benefits enrollment * Manage workers compensation * Responsible for bank deposits * Calculating, filing and payment of all Sales Tax * Managing bank and general ledger reconciliations * Owning of the financials within QuickBooks * Reporting to external stakeholders as required * Performing month-end and quarterly-end closings * Assisting with company tax, compliance, and licensing reporting * Assist with inventory process Requires: * Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business preferred * Strong knowledge of QuickBooks (required), Microsoft Excel, Word, and Payroll software * 3-5 years of accounting and/or bookkeeping experience * Retail or inventory experience a plus * Working knowledge of US GAAP * Payroll experience * Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work * Critical thinker capable to initiating process improvements and problem solving * Enthusiastic, inquisitive and desire to learn a broad range of topics * This role will be in store during normal business hours Schedule: * Expected to be 20 hours per week Salary: * $25-30 per hour Company Description Horn Photo is now employee owned!
