    We are looking for a capable and reliable construction worker to join our team. You’ll take direction from the project foreman to help prepare job sites, load and unload construction materials, remove debris, assist team members, and perform any other tasks needed to get the job done right. You should be great at following instructions, show up on time, be ready to work with a can-do attitude, and be a team player. Responsibilities: Clean up any tools, trash, and building materials once construction is complete to ensure a clean worksite Dispose of any debris, trash, or hazardous materials that are found on the site to prepare it construction starts Work with your crew through all stages of the project to make sure that the job is done efficiently Assist tradespeople and heavy equipment workers with plumbing, electrical, roofing, and other trade work as needed Stack and prep all of the tools and building materials that are needed for a project in order to keep everything organized • Supervises, coordinates, and personally participates in the labor and work activities of the crew and directs on-the-job training of employees in regard to safety, use of equipment, and work method • Work with a team installing concrete pavers, natural stone paving, and wall stones, concrete block retaining walls, tie retaining walls, drainage projects, trees, shrubs, weeding and bed cleanup, mulching, plant grass seed, gather and remove litter, snow removal • Operate light and heavy equipment, automotive equipment, power tools, and hand tools. Qualifications: Our crew members must be physically able to do the work with reliable hand-eye coordination and balance Some experience using construction equipment highly preferred Should have general knowledge of building and construction, but we are willing to provide training Important to be able to work independently and with a team, take direction and follow through • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in outdoor paver/retaining wall installation • Valid Class E Driver’s License or ability to get one • Knowledge of tools, materials, and practices of grounds maintenance • Knowledge and skill in operating automotive vehicles and heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner • Ability to follow oral and written instructions over the radio, telephone, and in-person • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen • Good attitude and hardworking • Ability to work with a team of people • Good attendance and reliable • Work outdoors, in extreme temperatures, and in adverse weather • Ability to frequently move and/or lift up to fifty (50) pounds and carry it a reasonable distance, and occasionally lift and/or move more than eighty (80) pounds. Requires physical stamina • Ability to bend and kneel for a prolonged period of time Compensation: $20 - $25 hourly
