    Title: Landscape Foreman - Managing and Overseeing Landscaping Projects in St. Louis Responsibilities: • Supervise and lead a team to ensure efficient completion of landscaping projects in St. Louis, MO • Implement a range of landscaping techniques, including edging, mowing, trimming, and operating chainsaws and blowers • Maintain accurate records of materials needed for each project • Perform maintenance and repairs on landscaping tools and equipment • Enforce safety measures to promote a secure work environment Preferred: • Proficiency in landscape design and the ability to interpret and analyze documents • Proficiency in landscape design and document interpretation skills Requirements: • Demonstrated experience in successfully executing landscaping projects • Strong leadership abilities and effective team management skills • Proficient in the use of landscaping practices and equipment • Meticulous attention to detail and precision in documenting materials • Knowledge of landscaping tool maintenance and repair • Familiarity with safety protocols and the ability to enforce them Responsibilities: • Lead and oversee a team of crew members to ensure efficient completion of landscaping projects in St. Louis, MO • Provide on-the-job training to crew members regarding safety, equipment usage, and working techniques • Collaborate with salespersons and designers to review job requirements and client preferences, and assist in plant layout • Perform various landscaping tasks such as tree and shrub installation, flower planting, weeding, irrigation, leaf removal, mulching, trimming, pruning, lawn aeration, grass seeding, and litter removal • Fill out daily paperwork and accurately record time and materials used • Meet with the project manager before starting each job to discuss project details • Assist other departments as needed, including snow removal, plant maintenance, and shop tasks • Maintain and upkeep the assigned vehicle • Pick up necessary materials for the projects • Read and interpret landscape designs to aid in project layout Qualifications: • 2-3 years of experience in landscaping • You will need a valid Class E Driver’s License • Good driving record • Plant knowledge is a plus • Please have a working knowledge of tools, materials, and practices for grounds maintenance • Knowledge and skill in operating automotive vehicles and heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner • Ability to follow oral and written instructions over the radio, telephone, and in the office talking to the salesperson • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen • Positive, attitude, and extremely hardworking • Work well with other team members • You must have good attendance and be a reliable person • Work outdoors, in extreme temperatures, and in adverse weather • Ability to frequently move and or lift up to fifty pounds and carry it to a reasonable distance • Knowledge of tools and equipment • Assist with the upkeep of vehicles Compensation: $19 - $21 hourly
