    PIRTEK, the nation’s leading provider for on-site hydraulic and industrial hose replacement is hiring for the position of Hose Installation Technician.

    Job Description:

    PIRTEK is looking to hire a Hose Installation Technician to service, assemble and install hoses for a diverse customer base such as manufacturing, construction, and rental companies, to name a few. We are looking for applicants with excellent communication and strong customer service skills.     As a PIRTEK Hose Installation Technician, you will be operating out of a PIRTEK Service & Supply Center in a purpose-built mobile hose workshop/van and be carrying out service calls in the local area. This provides the opportunity to develop relationships with new and existing customers.

    Successful candidates will be fully trained to operate a purpose-built PIRTEK service truck fitted with specialized equipment designed to fabricate flexible hose assemblies on site.

    Responsibilities:

    Service, assemble and install hoses for a diverse customer base

    Carry out service calls in the local area

    Develop relationships with new and existing customers

    Adhere to all industry and PIRTEK safety standards

    Ensure oil spills/ environmental contaminants, due to hose failure and/ or repair, are cleaned or contained to the customer’s satisfaction (as well as federal, state, and local regulations)

    Maintain mobile service unit, tools, and equipment

    Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving issues on-site and conducting frequent follow-up visits

    Participate in the rotating On-Call schedule (with increased incentive pay)

    Perform other related duties as assigned

    Skills & Abilities Needed

    Sit, stand, kneel, bend, and/or stoop from moderate to extended periods

    Safely use ladders, step-ups, stairs, etc.

    Mechanically inclined – consistent use of hand tools & specialized equipment is required

    Lift up to 50 pounds

    Can safely & lawfully drive a large work van

    Qualifications:

    Minimum High School Diploma or GED

    Mechanically Inclined

    Good Communication Skills

    Positive attitude

    Self-motivated

    Clean driving record
