About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced, full-time Hospice Marketer who can grow census, deepen community relationships, and serve as the face of Mi Casa Hospice. You’ll build and manage a high-quality referral pipeline by educating providers and community partners on our services and ensuring a smooth handoff from referral to admission.
What You’ll Do
Drive referrals & admissions: Own a targeted territory plan to consistently generate qualified hospice referrals and meet monthly admissions goals.
Develop relationships: Build trust with physicians, hospitals, SNFs/ALFs, home health agencies, case managers, social workers, and community organizations.
Educate & present: Deliver concise hospice education (eligibility, benefits, IDT approach, symptom management, timely admissions) to clinical and non-clinical audiences.
Territory execution: Plan daily route, document visits, and report call outcomes; provide timely end-of-day/weekly activity and pipeline updates.
Conversion support: Partner with intake/clinical teams to expedite eligibility reviews, same-day/speed-to-admission requests, and family education.
Market intelligence: Track competitive activity, identify new referral sources, and recommend strategies to leadership.
Brand presence: Coordinate in-services, health fairs, community events, and digital/outreach campaigns aligned with company messaging and compliance.
Compliance first: Adhere to CMS, CHAP, and Texas HHS marketing rules and company policies (no inducements; ethical, accurate representations only).
Success Looks Like
Consistent weekly referral activity and monthly admissions meeting or exceeding target.
Accurate CRM/call notes, timely activity reports, and reliable forecasting.
Strong relationships with 10–20 core accounts and growing warm prospects.
Positive feedback from referral partners and internal teams on responsiveness and professionalism.
What You Bring
Proven experience: 1–3+ years in hospice, palliative, home health, or post-acute sales/marketing with measurable results (required).
Territory skills: Demonstrated success calling on physicians, hospitals, SNFs/ALFs, and community partners.
Clinical literacy: Comfortable discussing hospice eligibility, benefits, and care model (RN/LVN/LMSW background a plus, not required).
Communication: Excellent relationship-building, presentation, and objection-handling skills.
Organization: Strong route planning, documentation, and follow-through in a fast-moving environment.
Licensing/Logistics: Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle; ability to travel within assigned territory.
Language: Bilingual English/Spanish preferred (not required).
