    Job Description:

    We are seeking a talented and experienced EDI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in X12 transaction sets (837I, 837P, 835, and 271), SQL Server, and .NET Core with experience in building RESTful APIs. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining EDI solutions to support our business processes and data exchange with external partners.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, and maintain EDI solutions for data exchange with external partners, including healthcare providers, clearinghouses, and payers.
    • Develop, test, and implement X12 transaction sets, including 837I, 837P, 835, and 271.
    • Create and maintain SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and queries to support EDI processes.
    • Develop and maintain .NET Core applications and RESTful APIs for internal and external data exchange.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve EDI-related issues, including data mapping, validation, and transmission.
    • Develop and maintain documentation for EDI processes, workflows, and data mapping.
    • Stay current with industry standards, trends, and best practices in EDI and related technologies.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in EDI development, specifically with X12 transaction sets (837I, 837P, 835, and 271)
    • Strong knowledge of SQL Server, including database design, T-SQL, and stored procedures
    • Experience with .NET Core and RESTful API development
    • Familiarity with EDI tools, such as EDI mapping software and data transformation tools
    • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Familiarity with healthcare industry standards and regulations is a plus.
