What you'll be doing:

Maintaining the cleanliness and professional appearance of the veterinary hospital

Providing for the personal and individual care of dogs and cats in the hospital

Responsible for the cleanliness, sanitation and maintenance of all client, staff and patient areas

Assisting in the treatment, medication and restraint of dogs and cats in the hospital setting

Requirements:

Enjoy working with people and pets.

Enjoy working as a part of a team.

Must be eager to learn new skills and receptive to coaching.

Ability to multitask.

Gives a high level of attention to detail.

Comfortable caring for and handling animals in a safe, effective and humane manner.

Ability and initiative to work with minimal supervision and direction.

Maturity, good judgment, and a professional personal appearance.

Treat people and animals with respect.

Ability to be on your feet for extended periods.

Ability to lift 50 pounds comfortably

Ability to comfortably perform repetitive motions of the hands, arms and legs.
