    About the Role:

    MedPOINT Management in Sherman Oaks, CA is looking for a detail-oriented Hospital Staff Accountant to join our dynamic finance team.     Responsibilities:

    Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliations

    Assist with month-end and year-end close processes in a hospital accounting environment

    Monitor and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

    Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for hospital operations

    Ensure compliance with healthcare accounting standards and regulatory requirements

    Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing and financial discrepancies

    Assist in audits and prepare supporting documentation as needed

    Requirements:

    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

    1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in healthcare or hospital settings

    Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

    Solid understanding of GAAP and healthcare financial reporting standards

    Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail

    Excellent organizational and time management abilities

    Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments
