    Hospitality Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Manager who will be a dynamic, multi-task oriented senior professional to manage all day to day maintenance aspects of the bus operation. The Maintenance Manager will insure that all maintenance requirements are achieved, and duties included will consist of daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports. The maintenance manager must be able to properly manage a budget for the maintenance program of a fleet of approximately 75 various types of buses, including cutaways, double-decker transit buses, and over the road motor coaches. Much of the fleet is D.O.T. regulated; therefore the candidate must understand D.O.T. regulations and be able to maintain those records.

    Maintenance Manager Requirements:

    Associates degree

    At least a Class B CDL with passenger and air brake endorsements

    Experience with, or ability to quickly learn a paperless shop system (RTA shop record keeping system)

    Knowledge of electronic logs, DVIR, telemetry, and GPS systems (Saucon Technologies)

    ASE automotive/truck certifications (master level preferred)

    5 years of experience maintaining a fleet of at least 50 vehicles

    ASE Certified Master Technician or 5 years equivalent experience as a Maintenance Manager Required

    Experience with vehicle types from van to Class 8 over the road motor coaches

    Experience with maintenance and operation of AVL, APC, and CCTV systems

    Experience with gas, diesel and CNG fuel systems

    May require lifting of 20 to 50 pounds

    Good written and oral skills

    Industry experience repairing and maintaining diesel engines

    Experience with MCI motor coaches preferred

    Maintenance Manager Responsibilities:

    Safety

    Responsible for maintaining a safe working environment in all shop and office areas.

    Responsible for working with Safety Director on any improvement to safety in all shop and detailer working areas

    Enforces policies and procedures on use of PPE for self and all shop employees

    Time Management

    Schedules and administers fleet maintenance, assists in troubleshooting problems with equipment. Communicates availability of vehicles for service with dispatch and other operational personnel

    Maintain daily reports of bus availability, vehicles undergoing maintenance, and when they are expected to return to service.

    Be on duty at times of peak maintenance and bus operations.

    Be a dedicated employee full time to all transportation entities of the company.

    Compliance

    Ensures compliance on a day to day basis with Local, State, Federal, and Company requirements; Ensures a safe environment exists and that all maintenance and related activities are in conformance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

    Technical Ability

    Ensures that spare parts inventories are properly maintained and sufficient to insure in service objectives

    Reviews repair orders; May order fuel for vehicles, order parts, and subcontract work.

    Reporting/Financial Success

    Maintain and submit monthly maintenance reports including mileage, vehicle condition reports (structural and drivetrain), fuel and fluid consumption, and in-service percentages for the bus fleet.

    Works closely with all Management, providing status of maintenance and budget requirements; May review financial and budget variances, review repair orders or code and approve account payable documents.

    Initiates and implements projects that improve efficiency and/or reduces operating costs.

    Manage warranty claims and enforcement, if applicable.

    Team Management

    In relation to subordinates, is responsible for hiring; firing; approving salary increases or decrease; training and employee development; planning and directing the work; disciplining; handling employee complaints or grievances; handling performance reviews. While the Manager is required to carry out these duties, some actions may require further approval or involvement of other senior managers.

    Ensures that maintenance technicians are trained on current vehicles, equipment, and current operating procedures; Ensure staff is motivated so that the maintenance program can be accomplished in a safe, timely, and cost effective manner.

    Supervises bus fueling and detailing crew and procedures in accordance with all needs, and outside contracts; ensures our fleet is fueled and cleaned per requirements.

    Completes special projects as assigned: Required to perform hands on work activities
