THE ROLE
We are looking for a Hospitality Manager who takes genuine pride in creating environments where guests feel completely taken care of. You understand that true hospitality is proactive, not reactive — it's about setting a standard and maintaining it without being asked.
You will oversee the day-to-day hospitality operations at Rooted Oaks Ranch, managing staff, property readiness, and guest satisfaction across all retreat and event programming. This is a leadership role with a hands-on component — you set the tone and you model the standard.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Property & Operations Management
Oversee daily hospitality operations including housekeeping, guest reception, and common area presentation
Develop and maintain property SOPs that reflect a boutique luxury standard
Conduct pre-event walkthroughs to ensure every space is guest-ready
Manage inventory of amenities, linens, F&B provisions, and guest supplies
Guest Experience
Set and uphold the guest service standard across all touchpoints
Ensure arriving guests are greeted warmly, bags are handled, and rooms are ready upon arrival
Oversee welcome protocols — beverages, snacks, property orientation — for every cohort
Be accessible and present throughout guest stays to address needs with discretion and care
Team Leadership
Hire, train, and schedule hospitality staff including guest reception and housekeeping support
Lead pre-event briefings so every team member understands the guest profile and program expectations
Build a team culture rooted in warmth, attentiveness, and quiet excellence
Vendor & Budget Coordination
Manage relationships with hospitality vendors (linens, florals, provisions, transportation)
Track hospitality-related expenses and assist with budget planning for events
Source and vet new vendors as the ranch's programming expands
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Must-Haves
3+ years in hospitality management, boutique hotel operations, luxury resort, or similar
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a small team
High standards for detail and presentation — you see what others overlook
Warm, professional demeanor with guests; composed under pressure
Flexibility to be on-property during active retreat weekends
Nice-to-Haves
Experience in wellness, retreat, or ranch/outdoor hospitality settings
Familiarity with event-based or seasonally variable operations
Background in F&B coordination or catering management
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Salary: $65,000 – $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience
Performance incentives based on guest satisfaction and operational excellence
On-site meals provided during active retreat weekends
