    Host/Hostess is the first point of contact, responsible for greeting guests warmly, managing reservations and the waitlist, and seating diners to ensure efficient table turnover. They coordinate with management, guests, service staff, answer phones, maintain front-of-house cleanliness, and provide excellent, professional service to maximize customer satisfaction from arrival to departure.

    Key Responsibilities

    Greeting & Seating: Welcoming guests, providing menus, and escorting them to tables while managing seating flow to balance server workloads.

    Reservation & Waitlist Management: Handling phone/online bookings and providing accurate wait time estimates to customers .

    Customer Service: Answering inquiries, resolving guest concerns, and ensuring a positive dining experience.

    Front-of-House Coordination: Communicating with kitchen/service staff for efficient turnover and, at times, assisting with tasks like clearing tables.

    Maintenance: Ensuring the host station and entrance area remain clean and organized.

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    Interpersonal Skills: Strong, friendly communication skills with a customer-first attitude.

    Organization: Ability to multitask and manage a fast-paced environment.

    Experience: Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is often preferred.

    Technical Skills: Familiarity with POS systems or table management software is common.

    Flexibility: Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
