Job Summary

We are looking for hosts to join our team! Hosts are the first and last impression for our guests. We want hosts who are natural people-persons and can create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Clear communication, attention to details, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities all with a smile are key qualities for a Federal Host to succeed.

Responsibilities

Fulfilling reservations for guests via phone or in person

Using OpenTable

Communicating to managers, servers, bartenders, etc any guest special requirements

Clear, friendly, positive communication on the phone to confirm reservations

Maintaining organization and cleanliness of Host stand

Welcoming guests by opening the door, seating guests, holding door open for guests as they leave

Occasionally placing togo food orders

Manage flow of guests for seating and wait times

Clean uniform and professional appearance

Qualifications

Previous restaurant hosting/server experience preferred

Friendly and guest focused personality

Clearly articulates when communicating to guests, staff, and managers

Understanding of inventory, COGS, and labor costs

Smile, positive energy, optimistic
