HOST JOB OVERVIEW
We are looking for a friendly, customer-focused Host to join our team! As the first and last point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in creating a warm and welcoming dining experience. From greeting guests to managing seating flow, your presence ensures a smooth and enjoyable visit for everyone.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests promptly and warmly as they enter the restaurant
Escort guests to tables or waiting areas, and provide menus
Assign guests to tables based on seating rotation and guest needs
Communicate wait times accurately and manage the flow of guests in dining and bar areas
Introduce guests to their server and inform them of any specials or promotions
Maintain a clean and organized host station and entrance area
Answer phone calls and assist with reservations or general inquiries
Operate POS system or cash register to process payments, if required
Skills & Qualifications:
Previous experience as a host/hostess or in a guest service role preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine desire to make guests feel welcome
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once
Able to lift and carry supplies or trays (10–30 lbs) and stand for extended periods
Comfortable using a phone and point-of-sale system
FOOD RUNNER JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a fast, reliable, and detail-oriented Food Runner to support our kitchen and service teams. As a key link between the kitchen and guests, you will ensure dishes are delivered quickly, correctly, and with care. You’ll help maintain a smooth dining experience and uphold our commitment to exceptional guest service.
Key Responsibilities:
Promptly deliver food orders from the kitchen to the correct table or guest
Verify that orders are accurate and complete before leaving the kitchen
Assist servers in clearing and resetting tables as needed
Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff regarding ticket times, food items, and special guest needs
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the expo and food service areas
Respond to guest requests or needs in a courteous and timely manner
Ensure food presentation meets restaurant quality standards
Follow all health and safety guidelines for food handling and service
Skills & Qualifications:
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service role preferred
Strong sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to carry heavy trays or multiple plates (up to 30 lbs)
