About the Role:

Join Hill Top Winery as a part time Host in Valley Center, CA! In this exciting role, you'll be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that sets the tone for their experience.

Responsibilities:

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner.

Manage reservations and waitlists to optimize seating efficiency.

Provide guests with menus and inform them of daily specials.

Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries regarding the restaurant.

Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area.

Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.

Assist in training new hosts and providing support as needed.

Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues with professionalism.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.

Positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional service.

Basic knowledge of reservation systems is a plus.

Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
