Cafe Chinois is looking for a customer-focused Host/Hostess to join our team! You will welcome guests, seat them in the restaurant, and help them enjoy an exceptional dining experience. Your hours will be from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

As a natural people person, you will be adept at quickly building rapport with guests and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Your ability to manage multiple priorities and keen attention to detail complements your excellent communication skills, which are vital for interacting with restaurant staff and guests.

Responsibilities:

Greeting customers as they walk into the restaurant.

Helped guests with reservations and guided them to their tables.

Give guests accurate wait time estimates and seat them in the waiting area.

Providing customers with menus and answering any initial questions they may have.

Optimizing seating at different tables to ensure an even workload for wait staff.

Answering phones and scheduling reservations with large parties.
