Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a smooth dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to manage reservations and seating efficiently.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.

Manage reservations and waitlists using Yelp and Open Table systems.

Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service.

Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about menu items and reservations.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.

Assist in guest relations by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.

Provide support to servers during busy periods as needed.

Uphold high standards of hospitality and customer service throughout the dining experience.

Requirements

Previous host/hostess or restaurant experience is preferred.

Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Familiarity with POS systems.

Experience in food service or hospitality environments is advantageous.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.

Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective guest interactions.
