    Saddlehill Cellars: Join Our Team as a Host

    Nestled in the heart of suburban New Jersey, just 12 miles from the vibrant energy of Philadelphia, Saddlehill Cellars is a 70-acre oasis of vineyards and preserved farmland. Our 7,000-square-foot tasting room and farm-to-table bistro offer a premier culinary destination with stunning views of the vineyards, farm, horse pastures, and flower gardens.

    We are looking for an outstanding, enthusiastic team player to join our growing company as a Host. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that sets the tone for an exceptional dining experience. Your friendly demeanor will be the first thing guests encounter, and we want you to make it a great lasting impression!

    Key Responsibilities

    Greeting and Seating Guests: Warmly welcome guests upon arrival and promptly seat them, ensuring their preferences and needs are met.

    Reservation Management: Manage the Tock reservation system to optimize table allocation. Communicate reservation status and special requests to the Front of House (FOH) team to ensure smooth operations and minimize wait times.

    Guest Service: Provide exceptional service by promptly addressing guest inquiries and concerns. Maintain a high level of professionalism and a friendly, outgoing personality.

    Promotional & Product Knowledge: Be knowledgeable about all wine club offerings, special events, retail items and be prepared to fill in for retail associates.

    Upkeep and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized host stand and assist with keeping the retail area organized. Assure bathrooms are stocked with supplies by checking them every half hour.

    Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the FOH team to ensure timely seating and efficient table turnover. Act as a liaison between guests and the restaurant team to ensure a seamless dining experience.

    Qualifications & Skills

    Previous experience in a similar customer service role is preferred.

    Experience with the Tock reservation and table management application is a plus.

    Be a team player with excellent communication skills.

    Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.

    Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

    Have a warm, friendly, and outgoing personality with a genuine desire to take care of others.

    Willingness to learn and stay updated on all winery wine and food offerings.

    Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle guest situations professionally.

    Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

    Has reliable transportation and is punctual.
