Job Summary
We are seeking a Host/Hostess to join the team at our thriving live music venue. In this role, you will welcome guests, verify guests have proper entry tickets, and lead them to their seats. Your goal is to quickly build rapport with patrons and make them feel welcome. The ideal candidate is friendly, outgoing, and committed to providing an exceptional customer experience.
Professional Appearance
Attire must be ALL BLACK
Comfortable closed toe, full foot shoes
Arms must be covered
Pants or knee length skirt/dress
Must be available to work: Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings Sunday afternoons
Responsibilities
Prepare venue for guest arrivals
Verify tickets for authorized entry
Welcome guests to venue with a smile
Assist guests with navigation, seating and miscellaneous concerns
Provide guests with menus & silverware
Provide information and manage the flow of customers
Process ticket orders
Qualifications
Previous experience as a host/hostess, server, or busser is preferred
Vibrant personality and passion for customer service
Excellent communication skills
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
General knowledge of computers
At least 21 years old with reliable transportation
Attention to detail and professionalism
Ability to go up and down a flight of stairs
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
Comfortable working in a loud, busy environment
Have good grooming habits
