Position Overview: We are seeking professional and vigilant Security Personnel to oversee the safety and security of our establishment The selected candidate will be the first point of contact for managing access to the venue, ensuring a secure environment for guests and staff throughout their visit.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome Guests: Establish a warm rapport with clientele by greeting them with a smile upon entry
Guest Screening: Manually check IDs and scan questionable IDs, ensuring only appropriate and safe individuals gain access to the establishment.
Safety Management: Monitor guest behavior to prevent altercations and ensure a safe environment for all patrons and staff.
Conflict Resolution: Respond to disturbances promptly and effectively, employing conflict resolution skills to deescalate situations without resorting to physical confrontation whenever possible. This is one of the most important aspects of the position.
Rule Enforcement: Ensure all venue policies regarding age, intoxication levels, and conduct are adhered to
Qualifications:
Experience in Hospitality: Prior experience in hospitality is preferred but a friendly demeanor would also suffice
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly and respectfully interact with patrons and team members.
Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly assess and handle situations calmly and efficiently.
Adaptability: We host a variety of events from Galas to Concerts. This requires the flexibility to understand the current clientele in order to adaptively address potential situations.
Availability: Weekend and night shifts are a pillar of this industry and position.
