    What You’ll Do As the Host & Server Support Manager at the Batbox venue, you’ll set the tone from the moment our guests walk through the doors. You’re the energy driver, and the behind-the-scenes coach leading our Hosts and Server Support teams to deliver legendary guest experiences. Here are some of your job duties:

    Craft Legendary Experiences: Lead and inspire your team to manage guest flow, deliver lightning-fast service, and keep every zone running clean and smooth. Bring the energy with pre-shift huddles, on-the-floor coaching, and quick pivots when the game changes. Respond to guest needs with a “we’ve got this” mindset and turn every challenge into a win.

    Powered by People: Coach, train, and grow your Hosts and Server Support Team Members - helping them thrive in their current role and get ready for the next. Collaborate with the Assistant General Manager to hire great people and build a positive, inclusive, team-first culture. When scheduled as Venue Shift Leader, you’ll take the lead on venue-wide guest service, team coaching, event oversight, and daily close procedures.

    Build for Tomorrow: Make smart scheduling decisions, monitor labor budgets, and ensure simulator uptime is always on point. Track your team’s performance and prepare weekly success recaps with key wins, updates, and what’s ahead. Keep operations running tight - whether that’s submitting invoices, posting shift notes, or sharing new ideas that drive results.

    Beyond the Game: Own health & safety in your zone - from daily walk-throughs to training and incident reporting. Support community events and sustainability efforts that connect Batbox to something bigger.

    Who You Are

    3+ years in a high-volume front-of-house role, ideally in a sportstainment, restaurant, or hospitality setting

    Supervisory or team lead experience and a passion for building strong, engaged teams

    Certifications like Food Safe, Responsible Alcohol Service, and First Aid

    A leadership mindset - you stay cool under pressure, inspire others, and solve problems with optimism

    A team-first attitude and excitement about growing your career with Batbox - think AGM, GM, Bar Manager, or joining our Behind the Brand (Head Office) team

    What to Expect

    This role is active and hands-on, and you can expect to:

    Be on your feet for 80% of your shift - walking, standing, and moving throughout the venue

    Work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on operational needs

    Navigate a fast-paced, high-energy environment where noise and distractions are common

    Lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds

    Frequently bend, reach, stretch, mop, sweep and wipe during your shift

    Read and write handwritten notes
