Our purpose is to open up the conversation on vegan food options for people who have never considered them.

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Host/Hostess is responsible for checking in and managing the seating of all guests, both reservations and walk-ins.. You should be knowledgeable, attentive, and focused on providing the best possible service in a fast-paced environment. You should be efficient, reliable, and perceptive with excellent communication and time management skills.

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Promptly and warmly greets and directs guests to their tables based on availability or desired seating arrangements.

    Responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.

    Answers phones and schedules reservations as needed.

    Helps restaurant staff by setting and clearing tables; replenishing water; and serving beverages as needed.

    Assists staff with side work including, but not limited to cleaning windows, stocking menus, sweeping around the bar, etc.

    Helps create an overall enjoyable dining experience and promotes a safe, clean and neat environment for guests and other associates.

    Bussing tables as well as bringing out meal orders if waitstaff are busy.

    May perform other duties as assigned by management.

    REQUIRED SKILLS/ ABILITIES:

    Must have a great attitude.

    Excellent communication and customer service skills.

    Must be able to work effectively in a fast paced setting while standing and/or walking for long periods of time.

    Must be flexible to work any schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

    Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.

    EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:

    Must be at least 18 years of age.

    Restaurant Experience preferred.
