Are you someone who loves making a great first and last impression? Do you enjoy creating memorable experiences for guests? If so, Famous Toastery is looking for you! As a host, you’ll roll out the red carpet and make all of our guests feel welcome, at home and supported.

What You'll Do:

· Welcome Guests Like a Star: Open doors for arriving and departing guests, making them feel like VIPs.

· Create a Warm Atmosphere: Greet, engage, and seat all guests in a friendly manner, ensuring a Champion first impression.

· Accommodate Special Needs: Handle requests for boosters, highchairs, disabilities, and large parties with ease.

· Maintain Guest Flow: Keep the restaurant running smoothly by managing the overall guest flow.

· Bid Farewell with a Smile: Inquire about guests’ experiences as they depart, thank them for dining with us, and invite them back.

· Multitask Like a Pro: Perform side duties including answering the phone, taking “To Go” orders, bussing tables, general cleaning, expediting orders, and checking out guests.

· Manage the Waitlist: Quote accurate wait times and keep guests informed.

· Support the Team: Provide assistance to servers and maintain clean and organized work and entry areas.

· Ensure Cleanliness: Check the overall cleanliness of the restrooms every 30 minutes.

· Master the P.O.S. System: Use the point of sale system for clocking in/out, processing “To Go” orders and guest checks, and completing end-of-shift duties.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For:

· Reliability: Show up on time and ready to work.

· Organizational Skills: Keep things running smoothly.

· Experience: Previous experience as a host is preferred but not required.
