Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests with a warm, friendly attitude upon arrival

Manage waitlists and seating arrangements to ensure efficient table turns

Communicate wait times clearly and accurately to guests

Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to monitor table availability

Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front-of-house area

Answer incoming phone calls and assist with general guest inquiries

Assist with takeout order handoffs and ensuring a smooth guest departure experience

Requirements:

Prior hosting, customer service, or front-of-house experience preferred

Outgoing, friendly personality with strong interpersonal communication skills

Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy service periods

Reliable, punctual, and a true team player

Comfortable standing for extended periods in a fast-paced cafe environment

Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
