About the Role:

TVS Ford Yacht Club in Grosse Ile, MI is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Host to be the welcoming face of our waterfront club. Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome members and guests upon arrival with a warm, professional demeanor

Manage reservations, seating charts, and waitlists to ensure smooth dining room flow

Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to maintain accurate wait times and table availability

Escort guests to their tables and communicate any special requests or needs to service staff

Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and assist with event or dining reservations

Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable host stand and entrance area

Assist in upholding club standards and ensuring an exceptional member experience

Requirements:

Prior hosting, front-of-house, or customer service experience preferred

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask and remain composed in a busy hospitality environment

Professional appearance and a positive, outgoing attitude

Familiarity with reservation management systems is a plus

Ability to stand for extended periods and work evenings, weekends, and holidays

A genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences
