Position Summary
The Host is a key member of the Two by Two Pet Support team, assisting veterinarians during in-home services and ensuring safe, respectful pet transport. Hosts play a vital role in supporting both pets and their families with professionalism and compassion during sensitive moments.
Key Responsibilities
Assist veterinarians with setup and support during in-home euthanasia services.
Provide safe, respectful, and timely pet transport services.
Operate Two by Two vehicles while following protocols.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness, organization, and readiness for service.
Communicate compassionately and clearly with clients to provide reassurance and support.

· Compassion & Client Support: Genuine empathy and compassion for families during emotional moments, paired with active listening and cultural sensitivity to provide reassurance and comfort.
· Resilience & Professionalism: Ability to remain calm and composed under stress, demonstrate resilience in end-of-life care scenarios, and adapt to shifting circumstances with professionalism.
· Physical & Operational Reliability: Dependable and respectful when handling pets, attentive to safety protocols and vehicle care, and accountable for timeliness and service quality.
· Teamwork & Ethical Values: Strong collaboration with veterinarians and colleagues, commitment to discretion and confidentiality, and an ethical approach to supporting families through sensitive situations.
Qualifications
CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
Experience in veterinary assistance, animal care, or pet handling preferred.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift and move pets weighing over 100 lbs.
Strong interpersonal skills with empathy for pet owners.
Work Environment
This is a part-time role with bonus opportunities. Hosts work closely with veterinarians, clients, and fellow staff members to ensure the highest level of support and care for pets and their families.

Compensation: $14.00 – $16.50 based on experience. After hour bonus pay.
Type of employment: pat-time.
