    We're looking for a culinary leader, to join our great team. You must be capable of overseeing the bakery kitchen and ensuring food safety procedures are followed. A passion for food and the ability to inspire others to be innovative. To be considered for the position, you must have 5 or more years of baking experience or experience in a baking leadership role. Apply now if you're ready to bring your creativity and leadership skills to our exciting team! $23- $25 hourly. We offer: reliable consistent day shift schedule, paid vacation time, discounts for in store purchases, a well rounded benefits program after 3 months employment Responsibilities: Provide guidance and direction to staff, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance to make the kitchen run efficiently Recruit, train, and lead all kitchen personnel while instilling a sense of teamwork through positive feedback, mentoring, and support • Work with vendors to secure the best items at cost-effective pricing, and manage department expenses that are within your direct control such as food, supplies, and equipment • Be responsible for the overall success of the daily operations, ensuring to meet the growing demand for our products • Flexible skills to be able to cover department roles if needed • Create production and staff scheduling • Maintain established quality standards of safety for staff and equipment • Excellent communication with the team and with customers • Comfortable with 5 am start time, seasonally it may be earlier Qualifications: Candidates need a strong understanding of compliance with kitchen safety and food storage requirements Outstanding management abilities, as well as experience leading, inspiring, and building a team • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with team and custom clients • Must have a current Canadian work permit Compensation: $23- $25 hourly
