    Job Description

    Hotaling & Co., LLC is seeking a Digital Manager to join the Hotaling’s Marketing Team.  The Digital Manager will report directly to our Director, Corporate Marketing, Digital and New Business Development. The Digital Manager will lead and execute the U.S. digital vision and strategy aligned with the Hotaling & Co. corporate, key priority brands, and business strategies.

    This position will work collaboratively to develop strategies across digital media and work with the broader marketing team to execute campaigns and programs that reach the target audience while meeting annual and long-term company and brand growth goals.  This will include creating compelling digital programs, ads, copy, developing brand websites, content, social channels, digital experiences, newsletters, and an eCommerce strategy.  This role will have oversite of several 3rd party vendors and agencies however must be able and willing to perform tasks themselves as needed.

    • Participate in the business and brand planning process (annual and long term)
    • Build digital marketing roadmaps for Hotaling & Co. and brands
    • Identify opportunities and develop plans and investment proposals across Corporate and Brand digital media including but not limited to websites, social media, eCommerce, search, ads, and email
    • Identify opportunities and develop plans and investment proposals for distributor partner platforms (Proof, LibDib, SevenFifty, etc.)
    • Develop digital campaigns that build brand awareness, engagement, loyalty, and drive trial and purchases within targeted markets or through eCommerce
    • Define content pillars, calendars, and develop brand voice where needed
    • Implement digital strategies to support volume and profit through clear executional direction to the organization and external partners
    • Write, edit, and review content for various channels and assets, including websites, social channels, newsletters, and more
    • Identify and negotiate partnerships/influencers
    • Monitor campaigns, develop reporting and optimize marketing budgets across channels
    • Research competition and establish benchmarks, goals, and how to differentiate
    • Work cross functionally with marketing, sales, operations and finance to gain input and support for opportunities & priorities required to achieve plans
    • Assist and coach the brand team on digital agency management & SOW/Budget negotiations
    • Build digital capabilities and IQ across departments
    • Manage A&P and T&E budgets
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Education: Degree in marketing, communications, or related field
    • 5-10 years digital marketing experience in consumer-packaged goods and beverage alcohol
    • Direct hands-on experience setting up and running campaigns in-platform with a focus on acquisition
    • Knowledge of advertising channels across Paid Social, Paid Search, Digital Video, and various buying methodologies (CPM, CPC, CPA) & experience with paid Google advertising
    • Understanding of spirits law compliance (three –tier system) strongly preferred
    • Experience in managing & RFPing external agencies (media, social) and in partnership with a marketing team
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple marketing campaigns and vendors. Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize
    • Must be a strong leader able to work with all levels of the organization, lead cross functionally, with successful experience mentoring and directing to peers and leadership
    • Strong negation skills as it pertains to media buys and negotiating agreements
    • WordPress experience a plus
    • Excellent message development, storytelling, and writing, editing, and proofreading skills are a requirement
    • Be able to work in a fast moving, changing work environment
    • P&L management a plus
